Position Overview- Orange County At Blue Zones Health, you will have the unique opportunity to transform healthcare by fostering collaboration and community-driven initiatives across markets. This role focuses on strategic leadership, provider engagement, and team empowerment to ensure the success of Blue Zones Health's mission and vision.As the Executive Director, you will work in a dyad model with the Medical Directors to provide strategic oversight and management for your market. You will hold responsibility for signing up providers, establishing contracts, and ensuring ongoing providerpatientcommunity engagement. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving performance, removing barriers, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect the success of your market.This role is about inspiring and empowering your teams to deliver exceptional support, fostering collaboration, and building sustainable relationships. Lead the market.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Oversight and LeadershipStrategic Market Leadership: Provide oversight and leadership for your assigned market, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.Provider Engagement Accountability: Take ownership of signing up providers, establishing contracts, and maintaining long-term engagement to support market growth and munity Activation: Oversee Community Representatives and Activation Team members to engage with providers and communities, driving adoption of Blue Zones Health initiatives.Annual Strategic Blueprint: Present an annual strategic blueprint to leadership, with monthly updates on progress to ensure transparency and alignment.Team Leadership and EmpowermentLead Market Teams: Inspire and empower Community Representatives and Activation Team members to achieve their goals and support providers effectively.Remove Barriers: Proactively identify and address challenges to ensure your teams have the tools and resources needed to succeed.Build Collaboration: Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability within the market, creating a high-performing environment.Provider Contracting and EngagementEstablish Provider Networks: Lead efforts to onboard and contract providers, ensuring alignment with Blue Zones Health's mission and strategic goals.Ongoing Support: Ensure continuous engagement and assistance for contracted providers, addressing their needs and fostering strong, long-term relationships.Strengthen Relationships: Act as the primary liaison between providers and Blue Zones Health, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction.Accountability for ResultsAchieve KPIs: Hold full accountability for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) in your market.Monitor Performance: Track market and team performance using data-driven insights to make improvements and achieve objectives.Drive Success: Ensure market goals are consistently met or exceeded through strategic planning and execution.Accountability for Blue Touch: Ensure that interactions for both providers and members under the Blue Touch initiative are managed effectively to maintain high satisfaction and engagement levels.CRM Management: Keep the pipeline, ready-to-enroll, and provider engagement CRMs accurate and up to date, ensuring all data is current and reflective of ongoing effortsBarrier Removal and Problem-SolvingProactive Solutions: Identify and resolve operational, logistical, or relational barriers that impact market or provider performance.Enable Success: Partner with internal stakeholders to secure resources, address challenges, and ensure the success of your market team.Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess market strategies and team performance, implementing improvements where necessary.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Community Events: Participation and engagement in events that align with Blue Zones Health initiatives.AWV Completion Rate: Annual Wellness Visit completion rates for assigned providers.HCC Recapture: Accurate recapture of Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) to support quality and risk adjustment.Quality Metrics: Achievement of quality performance benchmarks.MLR (Medical Loss Ratio): Effective management of healthcare costs in alignment with organizational goals.Provider Sign-Ups: Number of new providers contracted within the assigned market, contributing to network expansion and market growth.Provider Engagement: Ongoing satisfaction, participation, and engagement of contracted providers in Blue Zones Health initiatives and programs.Provider Certification: Number of providers achieving Lifestyle Medicine and Blue Zones certification, reflecting alignment with the organization's mission and standards.Patient Membership Growth: Increase in patient membership within the market, driven by enhanced provider networks, community engagement, and program adoption.Contract Completion: Timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency in executing provider and specialist contracts to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance.Team Effectiveness: Success of Community Representatives and Activation Teams in implementing market strategies, engaging stakeholders, and driving results.Operational Success: Timely identification and resolution of barriers, ensuring market goals are achieved or exceeded.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in healthcare operations, provider relations, or community engagement.Proven ability to manage provider contracting, relationship building, and engagement initiatives.Strong understanding of provider contracting processes and community-based healthcare models.Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Track record of achieving KPIs and driving team success.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned market.PreferredExperience working in a dyad leadership model.Familiarity with community health initiatives and provider engagement strategies.Expertise in overcoming operational barriers and implementing innovative solutions.Flexibility in RoleWhile primarily focused on the responsibilities outlined above, the Executive Director may also be assigned additional duties that encompass corporate roles as needed by Blue Zones Health. This flexibility ensures the role adapts to evolving business needs and contributes broadly to organizational goals.Additional ResponsibilitiesEnhance the enterprise's success by tailoring responsibilities to address the unique needs of individual regions.Provide innovative and strategic contributions to the organization's mission and vision.We are offering a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 for this position, based in California with a focus in Orange County. Please note that candidates with extensive experience and a proven track record in the field will be eligible for the higher end of the salary spectrum.
