Accounting Manager Conshohocken PA We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join us full time in Conshohocken, PA. The fundamental role of the Accounting Manager will be to handle all Corporate accounting across 6 Entities in a timely manner. This will require a quick monthly close with all reconciliations and revenue reports with appropriate member distributions calculated accurately. The incoming Accounting Manager must be a s trong analytical thinker; excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively lead and interact with multiple departments, have e xcellent attention to detail, be self-motivated - can get close done on time each month, and can work in a team environment or independently as needed. Duties & Responsibilities: Review the monthly P&L to ensure accuracy of expenses and all invoice billing, COGS and profit margins per unit. This role will require collaboration with almost all aspects of the business, with primary goals of ensuring accurate financial reporting, and helping the organization hit its financial goals Primary preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets Drive the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards Review the monthly P&L to ensure accuracy of expenses and all invoice billing, COGS and profit margins per units Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations across multiple companies. Extensive General Ledger Work. This is a very hands-on Role. Ownership of the monthly close process with agreed upon key metrics. Responsible for the monthly financials - Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow. Inventory Management and inventory counts/audits. Skills & Abilities: • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Proper Applications. • Extensive Experience in Month-end close from GL level all the way through Final Financial Statements including Consolidation of Interco Sales and Transactions. • Ability to create workpapers in a clear concise manner and execute a quick month-end workpaper package that supports the month-end financials for the combined group. • Ability to analyze data and work with large data sets in Excel. • Accounting organizational skills to include strong GL expertise and GAAP treatment of GL entries. • Experience working with Microsoft programs • Good knowledge of Excel a must • Good knowledge of Quickbooks and/or other accounting software • Ability to document work with legible handwriting Education: • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Management required. • CPA or MBA very helpful Experience: Previous work experience as Senior Accountant / Public Accounting experience very helpful. Experience in Oracel Netsuite very helpful as we are transitioning to Netsuite in 12 to 18 months.
