Position: Master ElectricianPay: $52.55 per hourLocation: Columbus Junction, IASummary:We are seeking a skilled Master Electrician to join our team in Columbus Junction, IA. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of electrical functions, including troubleshooting, repair, and technical support for all phases of operation. This role requires expertise in electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes. Candidates must hold a valid Master Electrician license in Iowa or a reciprocal state, ensuring compliance with safety standards and food safety regulations.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including control panels, transformers, power distribution systems, motors, and motor control devices.Provide technical support across multiple operations.Maintain and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards.Adhere to electrical safety protocols, including lockouttagout procedures.Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.Troubleshoot PLC systems and data collection instrumentation.Contribute to electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to NEC and company standards.Participate in occasional travel (1-5 trips annually) for training or support.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent (required).Associate degree in electronic technology or a related technical field (preferred).A combination of education and experience, such as skilled trade programs or military training, is acceptable.Experience:At least 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance and electrical controls.Skills:Strong knowledge of ACDC circuits, industrial electrical systems, and safety protocols.Proficiency in electrical construction, project management, and instrumentation.Hands-on experience with PLC systems, including programming and troubleshooting.Familiarity with mechanical systems, including bearings, gears, belts, and seals.Ability to maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Background in electronic motor drive technologies such as servomotors and closed-loop puter Skills:Competent in Windows-based software (Outlook, Excel, Word).Proficient in document organization and SAP Plant Maintenance.Certification:Valid Master Electrician license in Iowa or a reciprocal state (Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming).
