TITLE: EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORE SHIFT: MONDAY THRU WEDNESDAY AND EVERY OTHER THURSDAY FROM 12:00 PM TO 12:00 AMFLSA STATUS: EXEMPTREPORTS TO: DIRECTOR, EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND ENGINEERINGSUMMARY:Under the direction of the Director of Equipment Maintenance and Engineering, the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and performing the repair and preventative maintenance of all industrial tools and tool sets in the wafer fab, including assisting with tool selection, qualification, and optimization on an assigned shift; analyzing various types of data and preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports; and reviewing and modifying Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) to ensure data remains current. This position is located in Milpitas, California.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Supervises, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the department; makes employment-related decisions as necessary, including hiring and terminationsOversees and performs the repair and preventative maintenance of all industrial tools and tools sets in the wafer fabSupervisors are required to be physically on-site to perform the essential functions of this position, including making oneself available to employees, peers, and managers as neededAssists with tool selection, qualification, and optimization to ensure quality, performance, and yield specifications are consistently metReviews and monitors equipmenttool performance data such as MTTRMTBFOEE, prepares reports, and presents findingsOversees the work of vendors or field service personnel regarding repairs or maintenanceReviews and updates new or existing MPI's to ensure information remains up-to-dateCollaborates with the Environmental Health and Safety department to ensure all preventive or routine maintenance is conducted in accordance with established safety standardsSchedules all required training and certification classes to ensure compliance standards are metResponds to requests from employees and departments regarding equipment-related issuesMaintain compliance with Headway's Quality PolicyManage and mentor direct reports regarding Headway's Quality Management System (QMS) as it relates to their job functionSustain and provide continual improvements to the QMS as required by job functionAdheres to all safety policies and procedures as requiredPerforms other duties of a similar nature or level*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering andor equivalent relevant experienceFive years of hands' on experience working in equipment maintenance in a high volume manufacturing facilityExperience using FabTime, MESA, JMP, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office ApplicationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge and ability to perform routine scheduled or unscheduled maintenance in a wafer manufacturing environmentKnowledge of wafer manufacturing principles, processes, and equipmentKnowledge of management principles, practices, and techniquesKnowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentationsKnowledge and ability to use MESA, FabTime, SPC, or similar wafer tracking application to analyze dataKnowledge and ability create reports, analyze data, and present findingsAble to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, and managementAble to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and managementAble to comply with all safety policies and proceduresDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated project or process management skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skillsDemonstrated analytical skillsFlexible and able to prioritizeThe annual base salary for this full-time position is between $96,655.00-$142,140.00 + bonus target + benefits. Within the range the individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience. The annual base pay range shown is subject to change and may be modified periodically.WORKING CONDITIONS:The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor works in an indoor environment on a rotating schedule on E shift which is Monday thru Wednesday and every other Thursday from 12:00 PM-12:00 AM. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility; wears a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask. May be exposed to hazardous conditions, chemicals, fumes, andor gases during the course of work day; may be exposed to loud noise. Stands and walks, bends, twists, and crawls; This position requires the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to work on-site during their scheduled shift. May occasionally be required to work in crawl spaces, shafts, or other areas that could cause claustrophobia; wears a respirator in order to adhere to safety requirements.
