Sr Embedded Firmware Engineer

As a Senior Embedded Controls Firmware Engineer, you will architect, develop, test, release, and maintain embedded systems software for microprocessor-based power converters, energy storage subsystems, and switchgear, all requiring precise real-time performance. You will be passionate about enhancing system performance and continually adding new features to our advanced power electronics products.Responsibilities:Define system architecture for sophisticated power converters, UPS, and energy storage equipment.Evaluate, model, implement, and test advanced communication and control strategies.Develop and document software for safety-critical applications Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of experience in developing and deploying real-time embedded software and control systems for custom hardware platforms.Preferred Qualifications:MSPhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 3-5+ years of relevant experience.Training and experience in Digital Signal Processing and Control Theory.Experience with Cortex family microprocessors.Development experience with Power Electronics applications (e.g., motor and servo controls, UPS, solar power inverters).Experience with Distributed Energy Resources (e.g., SolarPV Inverters, Wind Turbines).Proficiency with test equipment for embedded electronics development (e.g., Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers).Experience with Military or Aerospace standards
