Senior Estimator (Water/WasteWaster)

This individual will focus on water and wastewater cost estimates and play a pivotal role in the success of our projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for water and wastewater projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and validate required data.Perform quantity take-offs and ensure all estimates align with industry standards and best practices.Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure cost competitiveness.Provide input during pre-construction meetings and project planning phases.Monitor market trends, pricing, and industry developments to ensure accurate cost forecasting.Maintain organized records of estimates and ensure alignment with company processes.Qualifications:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction estimating, specifically in water and wastewater projects.Proven expertise in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets.Familiarity with construction methodologies, materials, and best practices in the waterwastewater industry.Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, or equivalent) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.Previous project management experience is a plus but not required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.On Offer:Competitive salary commensurate with prehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and collaborative work environment.
