We fly in formation to win together.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Innovation is a core part of TIFIN's DNA and as part of that, we are launching a new venture building agentic workflows for large enterprises. We are looking for an ambitious and creative-thinking Senior Software Engineer to work directly with the cofounders on this project, building hands-on from day zero. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Python or Typescript, API development, and data engineering and infrastructure. The AI-based products center primarily around conversational AI assistants and personalization with applications across different themes and user groups.THE ROLE:Participate in architectural, design, and product sessions and be a crucial part of the decision-making process on overall technology directionWork closely with Product, Design, and other Devs to build customer-facing featuresIntegrate with a wide array of tools and services via APIDevelop event streaming architecture to load data into a Customer Data PlatformBuild the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS "˜big data' technologies like Redshift and GlueIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.Create datasets for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leaderManage technical optimization for maximum speed and scalabilityWHO YOU ARE:Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of increasing responsibility in fullstack engineering roles, ideally in startup environments building 0-1Real-world experience developing highly scalable solutions designed to democratize data to everyone in an organizationStrong coding skills in Python or TypeScriptExperience designing and building ETL pipelinesAbility to work comprehensively with various databases (Postgres, SQL, MongoDB, etc.)Track record of choosing the proper transit, storage, and analytical technology to simplify and optimize the user experienceAbility to thrive in a highly demanding, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment Highly flexible, good tolerance for ambiguity, and able to quickly adapt to changing prioritiesA top performer with a proactive approach who has a "doer" & problem-solver mentality An exceptional team player with strong communication skillsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:The expected starting salary range for this position is between $130,000 - $160,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets.
