A services organization in New Jersey is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a newOracle Procurement Consultant to their team. In this role, theOracle Procurement Consultantwill be responsible for providing strategic guidance, implementation support, and ongoing optimization of Oracle Procurement applications for clients. This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.Responsibilities:TheOracle Procurement Consultant will:Focus will be on the contracts, purchasing, and sourcing modules by ensuring that clients effectively manage their procurement processes and maximize the value of their investmentsLead the implementation of Oracle Procurement modulesby collaborating with clients to understand their business requirements, conducting system configurations, and customizing the solution to meet their needsConduct detailed requirements-gathering sessions with clients to identify their procurement objectives, process improvements, and system integration needsAnalyze and document requirements to develop a comprehensive solution designDesign solutions that optimize procurement processes, enhance sourcing strategies, streamline contract management, and improve supplier collaborationConfigure the system accordingly, ensuring alignment with best practicesDevelop test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate the functionality, accuracy, and performance of the Oracle Procurement systemCoordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support to resolve any issues identified during the testing phaseConduct end-user training sessions to educate clients on the effective use of Oracle Procurement modulesProvide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing their queries and concerns promptlyQualifications10+ years of experience as an Oracle Procurement Consultant, focusing on Contracts, Purchasing, and Sourcing modulesIn-depth knowledge of Oracle fusion Procurement applicationsProficiency in configuring Oracle Procurement applications to meet client requirementsExperience conducting requirements Gathering Sessions, System Design, and System Integration activitiesSolid understanding of Procurement processes, Contract Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supplier CollaborationPrevious work experience in Oracle Cloud Upgrade and or Cloud MigrationProject Management skillsSolid analytical and problem solving skillsDesired Skills:Experience working with Rest APIs and Webservices
