Position Title: Senior Benefits AdministratorLocation: Hybrid (1 day onsite weekly in St. Paul, preferred on Tuesdays or Thursdays, with occasional travel)Compensation: $69,569-$80,000 annually, depending on experienceOverview:We're seeking a Senior Benefits Administrator to play a key role in administering and managing benefits programs for a diverse workforce of over 3,000 employees. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with brokers, legal teams, and vendors while supporting the strategic and day-to-day benefits operations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the administration of health, welfare, and retirement benefits programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Manage relationships with brokers (bi-weekly meetings), legal counsel, and external vendors for retirement plans and other benefits.Conduct benefits plan reviews to identify opportunities for improvements and negotiate renewals.Collaborate closely with payroll teams to ensure seamless benefits processing and reporting.Process and audit benefits-related invoices and reports to maintain accuracy and compliance.Deliver virtual presentations via MS Teams to educate managers and new hires on benefits programs, including monthly orientations.Monitor and respond to employee inquiries through the benefits platform, providing solutions to enrollment and troubleshooting issues.Partner with internal teams to produce data audits and reports using MS Excel for compliance and decision-making purposes.Participate in benefits fairs and occasional travel (approximately three times annually, with overnight stays as needed).Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but significant experience (3-5 years) in benefits administration will also be considered.Strong knowledge of benefits operations, including plan design, administration, and compliance.Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.Experience with UKG Pro or a similar HRIS platform is highly preferred.Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate benefits information to diverse audiences.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and vendors.Work Environment & Perks:Hybrid work schedule with flexibility for occasional onsite meetings and statewide travel (e.g., benefits fairs and conferences).Join a mission-driven team committed to fostering community and inclusion.Opportunity to make a direct impact on the employee experience for a large, dynamic workforce.If you're passionate about benefits administration and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, I'd love to hear from you!
