Exciting Opportunity for a Business Analyst IV in NYC!Location: Manhattan, NYC (3-4 days onsite per week)Contract: 6-month increments, long-term potentialAre you a seasoned Business Analyst with a passion for driving impactful change in a fast-paced, global environment? We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst IV to take on a critical role where you'll have the chance to influence key initiatives across a global and regional this role, you'll be working alongside a dynamic group of Project Managers and functional leads to lead the development of new processes, procedures, and technological solutions. You'll have the chance to truly own and drive your projects, providing leadership and direction throughout the project lifecycle.What You'll Do:Take charge of creating, reviewing, and securing approval for essential project documentation, including Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Technical Specifications, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation.Document all meeting materials to ensure thorough, consistent communication.Be the first line of defense in identifying risks and issues, resolving them with effective communication and action.Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, FrontBack Office) to define and implement strategies that drive project success.Lead the planning process for key objectives, define scope, deliverables, and set clear project milestones.Own the creation of detailed project plans, including activity scheduling, resource management, and task sequencing to keep the project on track.What You Bring to the Table:Proven track record of delivering large, multi-functional projects that have a significant impact.Expertise in creating business and technical documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and Technical Specifications.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong multitasking ability with a collaborative, team-first attitude.Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Experience with Broker-Dealer products such as Equities, Fixed Income, ReposReverse Repo, and Securities Lending.Familiarity with leading financial platforms like Loanet, Broadridge, Bloomberg, and NTier.Experience in the testing phases of projects, including developing test cases and strategies, and executing UAT.Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., FINRA, SECLENDING) is a plus.Vendor management experience and the ability to coordinate external deliverables effectively.Ability to work effectively in a diverse, collaborative team environment.Education:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Why You'll Love This Role:Impact: This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on large-scale projects that shape the future of business processes and technology.Growth: You'll work with a talented, cross-functional team, allowing you to sharpen your skills and grow within the technology and financial industries.Location: Enjoy a Manhattan-based role with a hybrid schedule, allowing you to balance the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative energy of the office.Long-Term Potential: This is a contract role with a 6-month term and potential for extension, making it a great opportunity for individuals looking to grow within a long-term project.
