Job descriptionWe are immediately hiring A&P Mechanics for contract work in Lakeland, FL. Our client is a premier FAR 145 approved repair station, who is quickly growing. They are looking to expand their team with well qualified and experienced technicians.Opportunity: Contract (with potential to go perm)Hours: Monday thru Friday (8:30am-5:30pm). Weekends or nights may be needed.Opportunity Highlights:Excellent work-home life balance!Team and family-oriented environment.Set schedule.Centrally located between Orlando and Tampa.Location:Lakeland, FL - only 40 min to Tampa, FL or an hour to Orlando, FL!!Minimum Qualifications:A&P License, IA preferred.Minimum of 2 years' experience as a certificated A&P working on Challenger 300 series aircraft.Previous 145 experience preferred.Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance practices for various types of aircraft.Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software pensation:$45-50hrThe client is looking for a 4-6 month commitment due to the current volume.Job Types: Contract, Temp-to-hirePay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekends as neededWork Location: In person
