Associate Science & Technology Counselor

Flanders Investment & Trade ( FIT ) is searching for 2 Associates to the Science & Technology Counselor - Americas in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a team, you will be responsible for stimulating strategic technology relationships between the USA and Flanders, the northern region of Belgium. Depending on your background and aspirations, the focus tech domains for this role can include Digital, Bio andor Cleantech. The FIT San Francisco Bay office operates integrated in vast network of >10 offices in the Americas. In North America you will be working closely with trade & invest collegues based in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto and New York. Specialist Science & Technology teams are based in New York, San Francisco and ( soon ) Sao Paulo. You will report to the S&T Counselor based in the San Francisco office.This is a public servant role to the benefit of the United States and the region of Flanders. Flexibility and a service mindset are key.
