We are seeking an Senior Account Manager that will handle a client portfolio and work with producers/sales professionals and teammates to service new and existing clients, help maintain positive client relationships, and provide high-quality service to assigned accounts, with a focus on the profitability of the business for the agency. How You Will Contribute Build, expand, and solidify relationships with customers at all levels within the company and lead appropriate resources to address their needs, including risk identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues. Process e-mails, for assigned accounts. Enter all required data into Applied EPIC and maintain current file data on all assigned accounts. Renewal marketing, including quoting, of assigned commercial lines risks Prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, endorsements, evidence of property insurance, and cancellations Maintain suspense or follow-up system for correspondence and all transactions. Prepare agency-billed billings and/or invoices on a timely basis. Advice accounting of the appropriate posting of money received on assigned accounts. Assist in the collection of premiums as defined in the procedure manual. Develop and maintain working relationships with the various company underwriters. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the various carriers' rating plans and programs. Maintain knowledge of the carrier's coverage Maintain favorable relationships with customers, producers, and employees. Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverages and trends. Licenses and Certifications: Active Property & Casualty License Skills & Experience to Be Successful Deep understanding of commercial insurance sector with a focus on real estate, manufacturing, auto services, manufacturing, healthcare (technology would be a plus) Ability to work on complex accounts in the range of $50k - $250k in premium 10+ years in a similar role Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Strong organization and prioritizing skills Ability to initiate and foster customer rapport.
