Our client, a consumer products company in Westchester County, NY is seeking a Senior Director of Human Resources to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner and thought leader, playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR programs and initiatives that impact the learning, growth, and development of talent within the organization. The position will have responsibility for the full spectrum of HR responsibilities and be a partner to senior leaders across the business. Acting as a strategic partner to the business, you will thrive in a multi-faceted environment, guiding and supporting divisional leaders with HR best practices to drive organizational growth and success. This position provides an excellent career path for growth! Location: Hybrid - Requires minimum of (3) days onsite presence in Westchester, NY office. Key Responsibilities: Drive the development and execution of HR strategies that support the company's business objectives and long-term success. Oversee and ensure organizational compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, while developing or updating policies and practices that mitigate risk and support organizational integrity. Lead efforts to maintain a positive work environment through effective employee relations strategies, supporting performance improvement initiatives and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the HR team, driving high performance and alignment with organizational goals. Lead the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the company's performance management system, to promote effective goal setting, regular feedback, and robust career development opportunities for employees. Partner with leaders and managers helping them strengthen their leadership skills, navigate challenges, and foster team growth and development. Embed and execute our existing core competency frameworks across HR initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment. Design and implement employee wellness initiatives that enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Measure the program's impact and continuously refine offerings to enhance employee engagement and overall health. Drive HR initiatives that support the company's growth and culture, including talent acquisition, employee engagement and retention. Develop and implement rollout plans for future HR initiatives and systems, ensuring smooth adoption and effective communication. Provide insights and guidance on HR trends, best practices, and organizational development. Identify pain points and opportunities for growth and improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a leadership role managing people. Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus. Generalist background with proven experience in implementing performance management systems, training, implementing leadership development programs. Proficiency with benefits is a plus. Must have exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization. Ability to drive results and establish credibility with senior leadership while maintaining compliance and other business considerations Proficiency in HR software and data analytics tools.
