Harvest CFO Executive Search has been retained to deliver a highly skilled Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) for a rapidly growing provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services of component parts, as well as new parts manufacturing, for industrial gas turbine engines. This company offers a variety of services including coating, brazing, heat treatment, machining, welding, flow testing and electrical discharge machining for parts of gas turbines to protect components at high operating temperatures and adverse operating conditions, enabling its customers to cover a broad spectrum of aftermarket part repair and replacement needs for OEMs and end-users in the industrial gas turbine industry. Currently generating more than $20MM in annual revenues, this company has a strategic plan supported by its private equity firm sponsor of growth towards $50MM+ in annual revenues through both organic market expansion and add on acquisitions (M&A). This company has a history of success built on integrity, authenticity, and consistency in delivering value to its customers and subscribes to a culture that is steeped in customer service, entrepreneurial spirit and engagement of its people.This VP of Finance role is the top financial leadership role partnering with the CEO, management and the PE sponsor to achieve the strategic plan. The VP of Finance needs to be operations focused and is tasked to ascertain and lead operational and financial improvements across the organization. The VP of Finance will lead a financial management function that enables efficient, profitable growth and has primary day-to-day "hands-on" leadership responsibility for financial and operational reporting, forecasting, FP&A, budgeting, investment case analysis, working capital management, treasury, tax, and audit functions. The VP of Finance will be tasked to assess financial performance across all revenue streams and lead initiatives toward improving profitability, cash flow and liquidity. The VP of Finance is responsible for managing ongoing bank relationships and reporting requirements and is expected to maintain robust systems and controls to safeguard corporate assets and ensure corporate policies are followed. The VP of Finance will also play a key leadership role in the company's acquisition initiatives. The VP of Finance is expected to be a true "business partner" and work effectively across all functional areas of the company enhancing its culture internally as well with customers, suppliers, and key third parties.This role will be performed on site at the Houston (North Suburbs) facility and provides a competitive compensation and benefits package and equity participation.Harvest CFO Executive Search is the premier executive search partner for the CFO role for private equity portfolio companies.Desired CompetenciesIndustry experience in a B2B services, durable equipment or precision component manufacturing and repair services.Successful experience:as a financial leader who is both "hands on" and "scalable" in a commercial operation environment generating at least $20MM of annual revenues and in a growth environment;as a value-add business partner with CEO, management team and board to achieve targeted results and strategic plan;in a financial leadership role for a private equity portfolio company or similar environment;as a change agentmentor driving financial and operational improvements;as an operations-focused business partner capable of effectively teaming across all organizational functions;working with job costing, manufacturing costing, work in process, standard costing;assisting with project quoting processes and quoting strategies;implementing and managing a high performing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function to support the business;developing compelling business cases for company investments (IRAD, Capex, etc.);implementing and managing initiatives to optimize cash flow and working capital, including forecasting and liquidity planning;in a leadership role as to evaluation, improvements, and implementation of technology systems and financial processes;managing lender relationships and requirements contained within credit agreements, including financial reporting, cash forecasting, borrowing base, and covenant reporting;introducingimproving pricing methodologies and revenue models to positively impact margins and revenue streams;in a leadership role as to M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration including monitoring progress towards targeted synergies and cost savings.The VP of Finance reports to the CEO and will make board presentations.Reporting to the VP of Finance - finance and accountingCPA andor MBA is preferred, not required.
