Job Title: Project Manager - Capital MarketsLocation: New York, NY (Hybrid)Duration: 12+ Months (Possibility of ExtensionConversion)Skills and Experience:Top Skills: Initiative, follow-up, and critical thinking.Preferred Experience: Capital markets > RWA experience due to the front office focus.Technical Skills (optional): Familiarity with Python, SQL, Tableau, and data modeling is a plus for certain roles.Familiarity with BaselBasel III frameworks beneficial but not mandatory.Collaboration with finance and controllers for RWA issues, but no direct RWA calculation responsibilityPrimary Responsibilities:Support the Program Initiative lead(s) to drive execution of strategic deliverablesLead or participate in working groups, workshops and with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define project plans and manage timelinesImpart subject matter expertise by providing guidance, support and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with program strategyAssist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or levelManage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teamsIdentify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMsEngage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they ariseProduce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committeesBuild strong relationships, adopting a joined-up approach, to support the execution of programsSkills Required:Strong track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutionsHas experience in FOCOOFinance Transformation with examples of execution deliverables metExperience in scoping, developing and prioritizing plans for strategic initiativesGood oral and written communications skills; should be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to stakeholdersAn understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performanceAbility to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectivesContributor in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organizationDemonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability5+ years of relevant industry experienceExperience in managing Regulatory related projectsBachelor'sUniversity degreeProject Management certifications e.g. PMP or equivalent a plusCandidate should have:Familiarity and experience with Markets products, front office projectsinitiatives and business-led implementations of end-to end deliveries across front office, technology and functional teamsUnderstanding of CapitalRWAs, the importance for the business and what capabilities the business needs in terms of information and decision-makingFamiliarity with data and modelling related initiatives from Business, Risk and project management perspectivesDemonstrated awareness of key project management requirements for structuring and driving projects from initiation to closure in a well-managed fashion.Ability to face senior stakeholders and summarize issues as well as respond to challenges in a succinct and convincing manner7+ years of relevant industry experienceEEO"Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of - MinorityGenderDisabilityReligionLGBTQIAgeVeterans."
