This includes equipment installation and maintenance in our Hot Melt line of business. This position will work out of the Charlotte, NC area.Job ResponsibilitiesInstallation of new equipmentService maintenance of customer equipment on siteRepair equipment in our workshopServe as an onsite manager representing Meler during the installationSupervise and advise skilled tradesmen to construct and install all Meler supplied equipmentCommunicate and resolve issues to ensure successful sign off with customer is reachedProvide exceptional customer service to new and existing customersPerform system audits of Meler and equipmentMaintain detailed knowledge of Meler products and policies and follow company proceduresMeet KPI's provided by companyPerform other duties as assigned.Education and Experience RequirementsMust have Associate Degree or two-year technical certificate in electromechanical technology, or 3-5 years' experience in lieu of degreecertificate5+ years of successful experience in industrial services or equipment installation is required3+ years of Field Engineering experienceVery good electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills requiredAbility to read electrical schematicsExperience with pneumatics is a plusManagement supervisor experience is a plusSkills and AbilitiesDetail-oriented, self-motivated with strong communication skillsProven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic environmentExperience with hot melt adhesives is preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeDemonstrated ability to learnOrganizational skillsAble to work well in a team or soloNot required but highly valued: Fluency in SpanishWorking Conditions and Physical DemandsThis is an outside field environment jobFlexibility neededAbility to travel within the US and Canada up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays, and to work occasionally on weekends as requiredAbility to travel to Spain at the beginning of employment for training at company headquarters, for up to 2 weeksTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyPackage offeredCompensation commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience, around $65K - $70K per year (gross salary)Overtime compensation for weekend work401kHealth insurance plan, with deductible and copaysLife and disability insuranceExpenses submitted weekly, paid bi-weeklyBi-weekly salaryCompany carMeler USA Corporation provides equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees.
