Technical focal responsible for satisfying customer and business objectives and complies with civil certification rules. Also, resolve certification issues through discussion with FAA authoritiesDERs for cabin safety.Produce high-quality deliverables including digital design data, test plans, engineering change orders, test reports, instrumentation requirements, interface requirements, configuration accountability, project status reportsforecasting, and key performance indicator (KPI) data.Responsibilities:Using global supply chain, oversee and assist AW609 Cabin Safety testing (ground and flight) and analysis necessary to show compliance to FAA part 2529 certification rules.Oversee and participate in ongoing development of cabin safety features (including flammability, occupant egress, HIC, etc), and baggage compartment smoke detection to ensure optimal design for business, customer, and certification objectives, including producibilitysourcing, systems installation, kits integration, and weight improvement.Provide airframe design support toward completion of AW609 aircraft, including the disposition of defects for structural aspects, ensuring configuration accountability, retrofitting of new designs, and ensuring engineering corrective action is taken to improve the product.Produce and defend high-quality deliverables including digital design data, engineering change orders, instrumentation requirements, interface requirements, material data, and configuration accountabilityDevelop and implement innovative design solutions that leverage advanced technology and tiltrotor configuration to provide customer value.Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil Aerospace)Experience:Minimum six (6) years of aerospace experience in a technical capacity for the development of mechanical components (preferred experience with aircraft helicopter interiors). Experience credit can be considered for advanced degrees such as Master's, PhD, etc.Experience participating in FAAEASA certification programs preferred
