We are looking for a new Outreach Coordinator to support the executive team of a construction training program in New Rochelle. This program offers vocational training in construction and other related sectors to New Rochelle residents.An Outreach Coordinator is a professional who works directly with the community to promote the social, economic, and educational benefits of our programs. As an Outreach Coordinator, your job duties will involve identifying community needs, developing outreach initiatives, and tracking progress. This position combines administrative responsibilities with fieldwork, including direct interaction with the public.As an Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping to attract and recruit participants into the construction training program in New Rochelle and other training opportunities. You will ensure that candidates possess the necessary skills for the program and job placement. A few of the main duties of an Outreach Coordinator include testing the skills of program candidates, conducting program interviews, assisting candidates with enrollment into the program, and developing relationships with industry and community partners. New Rochelle residents active in the community are highly encouraged to apply.Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities:Using various software, including Word, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.Managing public relations by developing strategic relationships, attending career fairs, and conducting informational presentations at universities, nonprofits, clubs, and civic groups.Attending and coordinating events for outreach purposes. Collecting and analyzing data on program demographics, developing results, and presenting conclusions to relevant departments.Managing and maintaining candidate information databases.Advertising for, screening, and recruiting participants, providing them with guidance and support, and tracking their progress.Outreach Coordinator Requirements:Top-notch organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a daily workload.Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.Professional-level verbal and written communication skills.Advanced interviewing skills and the ability to conduct mock interviews effectively.Proficiency in resume writing and expertise in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.A bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, social services, or HSE with commensurate experience is required.2-3 years of experience in workforce development or a related field is advantageous.Bi-lingual SpanishEnglish is a bonus.This position requires attendance on-site in a hybrid schedule.This role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community by supporting vocational training and job placement for New Rochelle residents.Salary: $52,000.00Benefits and Time Off:At our company, we believe in supporting our employees both in and out of the workplace.
