Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support the electrical infrastructures across our datacenter campus, which includes both large-capacity facilities and multiple smaller ones. The ideal candidate will have experience in high availability environments, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.Summary:Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 role description.Ability to follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities.Take daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine roundslog taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).Ability to follow operating procedures (SOPs, MOPs, EOPs) for critical environment planned and unplanned work activities.Fire alarm preventative maintenance (PM).Assist in the troubleshooting, repair and replacement of instrument sensors and calibration.Quarterly and annual Generator preventative maintenance.Experience with roof top units (RTU) HVAC (includes some sort of refrigeration recovery requiring an EPA refrigerant license).Experience with Industrial Chillers preventative maintenance.Experience with fire pump & fire alarm preventative maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Support and maintain electrical infrastructures across the datacenter campus.Perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns, ensuring critical loads remain supplied through a single source ("N").Conduct Power Distribution Unit (PDU) shutdowns for power meter replacements.Execute Power Interruption Testing (PIT) and manage master controller shutdowns or replacements.Collaborate with the team to ensure all electrical systems operate efficiently and safely.Qualifications:Required:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.3+ years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, data center, or similar environments.Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or related fields.OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and varying work weeks.Preferred:Experience with Building Management Systems (EPMS).Previous datacenter experience.Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.Qualified Electrical Worker certification.Schedule12 hour night shift6pm-6amThurs-Sat, Every other Wednesday
