Legal Executive AssistantWe are seeking an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. This role supports attorneys specializing in financial and business law and requires someone with a strong background in litigation support, preferably from large firms. Candidates with personal injury or plaintiff-side defense backgrounds will not be considered.Position Overview:The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in commercial litigation. You will be responsible for managing high-level administrative and legal tasks, ensuring seamless support for attorneys and their clients.Key Responsibilities:Litigation Support: Draft, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; assist with electronic filings in federal and state courts.Administrative Tasks: Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate meetings and depositions, and manage complex travel arrangements.Document Management: Organize and manage case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of records in compliance with firm policies.Client Communication: Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and third parties, ensuring clear and timely communication.Billing Coordination: Assist with time entry, prebill edits, and invoice processing; liaise with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely client billing.Research and Reports: Conduct legal research, prepare summaries, and compile data as requested.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other assistants and departments to ensure smooth operations and provide backup support when needed.Qualifications:Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Legal Executive Assistant in a commercial litigation setting, preferably within a large firm environment.Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong knowledge of e-filing systems for federal and state courts.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Preferred Background: Experience supporting attorneys in financial and business law.Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.Why Join Us?Work alongside top-tier legal professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.Gain exposure to complex commercial litigation petitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.If you are an experienced Legal Executive Assistant with a strong background in commercial litigation and are ready to bring your expertise to a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.
