This key leadership position reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Manufacturing and plays a vital part in ensuring the process engineering needs are met across the new capital projects, R&D efforts, and ongoing process improvements at our purification sites.What You'll Be DoingLead and mentor a team of process engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvementOversee process engineering and design initiatives across multiple facilities and projectsDevelop and implement engineering standards, procedures, and best practicesPartner with capital projects, R&D, and site manufacturing teams to ensure engineering solutions meet operational requirementsManage resource allocation and budgeting for engineering initiativesDrive process optimization projects to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainabilityEvaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance engineering capabilitiesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standardsBuild and maintain strong relationships with external engineering partners and vendorsBasic Qualifications (Required) Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred15+ years of process engineering experience, with at least 8 years in leadership rolesDeep expertise in process design, unit operations, and process safety managementProven track record of successfully leading complex engineering projectsStrong understanding of capital project management and executionExperience with engineering design toolsExcellent project management and organizational skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teamsLeadership Competencies: Strategic thinking and planning capabilities; strong decision-making and problem-solving skills; ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries; change management experience; commitment to safety and operational excellenceImpact: Shape the technical direction of our manufacturing operations; drive innovation in process design and engineering; develop the next generation of engineering talent; contribute to the company's growth and operational excellence; lead initiatives that improve efficiency and sustainabilityPreferred:Professional Engineering (PE) licenseExperience with continuous improvement methodologies
