ACET, Inc.'s technical, programmatic, and analytical professionals are experts in commercial technology, customized solutions, and proprietary government systems.ACET is seeking an H-1 Depot Level Modifications Floor Lead Quality Assurance supporting our 2nd shift operations at our MCAS Camp Pendleton, CA location.Job Overview:Camp Pendleton is seeking an experienced and dynamic H-1 Helicopter Floor Lead and Quality Assurance to oversee and manage the daily operations of our H-1 helicopter modification and integration program. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, exemplary tasking and priority setting skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality and exceptional time management and budgetary skill sets.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management:Works hand in hand with day shift floor lead and operations managers ensuring pass down work is continued.Supervision and Coordination: Oversee daily operations on the aviation floor, ensuring all activities are conducted efficiently and in strict adherence to safety standards.Set individual employee tasking priorities.Oversee aircraft integration progress, setting priorities and maintaining schedule.Team Development: Mentor, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and overall performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Work with site Operations Manager coordinating schedule, tasking.Operational Oversight:Daily Workflow Management: Coordinate and manage the workflow on the floor, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed within required timeframes.Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources to optimize operations and minimize downtime, ensuring the smooth running of all activities.Quality Control: Uphold high-quality standards for all tasks performed on the floor, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address any operational issues or delays, implementing solutions to maintain efficient munication & Coordination:Liaison with Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the floor team and management, providing regular updates on operations and team performance.Daily Briefings: Conduct daily briefings with the team to communicate priorities, operational updates, and any changes in procedures or policies.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in helicopter maintenance, including at least 7 years in a supervisory or management role. Experience with H-1 helicopters is a must.Skills: Proven leadership and management capabilities. Expertise in helicopter maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and repair. Excellent organizational and communication skills.Certifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, or equivalent military certification preferred.Other: Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance - if required. Flexibility to work various hours and be available for on-call duties as needed.Education:High school diploma or equivalent.**All candidates must be a U.S. Citizen to apply**The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift, push, pull and manipulate 50lbs independently when needed.Must be able to climb on ladders if needed.Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary stepsstairs.Position involves long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling on aircraft structure and around aircraft for maintenance functions.Position may require working in a confined workspace.Position my require use exposure to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents.Position is located in a high noise area within an aircraft hangar flightline environment.FIT for Duty Physical is required.May require DOT and Respiratory Physicals.Tools: Employee must own and provide basic hand tools required.Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.Shift: 2nd Shift. Monday - Friday 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM.
