Job Title: Director of Business Development (North America)Company: Medical Indicators Inc.Location: Hybrid (at least 1-day in-office, per week) at Hamilton, New JerseyReports to: Chief Executive OfficerEmployment Type: Full-TimeMedical Indicators, Inc. ("MII"), a rapidly growing, New Jersey-based medical device manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development ("DBD") to join the team. As a senior member of the team, the DBD will develop and execute strategic campaigns, business strategies, and key tactical plans based on the identification and prioritization of the best marketcustomer opportunities, in order to accelerate MII's domestic and international growth and expansion.The DBD will aid in building, overseeing, and guiding MII's Sales efforts, receiving help from and when needed providing guidance to senior management team members. You will play a crucial role in driving customer outreach, furthering MII's domestic and international growth and expansion, and working to establish MII as a leader in the global thermometer industry.Key Responsibilities:· Formulate and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.· Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and partners to enhance business opportunities and customer loyalty.· Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats to inform strategic decisions.· Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that align with business goals.· Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.· Work with marketing, product development, and finance teams to ensure cohesive execution of business development plans.· Manage budget and financial reporting for business development activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation.· Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company and explore new business opportunities.Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree (MBA) preferred.· Significant experience (typically 8-10 years) in business development, sales, or a related field.· Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing successful partnerships.· In-depth understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape; in medical devicehealthcare industry.· Strong ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with company goals.· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.· Strong negotiation and contract management skills to secure beneficial agreements.· Proficiency in analyzing market data and performance metrics to inform decision-making.· Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, with a focus on performance improvement.· Strong understanding of financial principles and experience in budget management.· Familiarity with CRM software and other business development tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. · Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as pensation & Benefits provided:· The Director of Business Development is a hybrid position working 1 day in-office per week at our Headquarters located in Hamilton, NJ either on Tuesdays or Thursdays. · The proposed salary band for this position is $120,000-$140,000 annually. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
