SDET (ETL Testing)

BCI has the following SDET position open with our direct client located in Jersey City. Will need experience in thorough testing and validation of ETL processes and workflows. We are looking for a consultant with a focused QA mindset along with SW dev skills to join a new project. Will be adding many new features and will be working in a fast-paced environment. This position will be 6 months in duration and a potential contract to hire. *Please note - Will be hybrid with the need to be in office 1 day a week. Can work on a W2 or 1099 basis. No C2C or subcontractors. Must be a US Citizen, Perm Resident or GC holder. Candidates local to the NY NJ area will only be considered. **DetailsResponsible for creating an end-to-end test plan test specification, and test case templatesWill perform manual testing first, then start the automation testing on API UI DatabaseDevelop and document test plans and test specificationsDevelop and execute test scripts using automated testing tools; document and summarize resultsFacilitate the defect tracking and test result summary processes through reportingReview requirements documented as Functional Specifications, User Stories or Change RequestsIdentify test data and prepare test cases for automationParticipate in system and regression testingManage and prioritize defects from detection through to resolutionMust have test case design experience and knowledge of test case design techniquesQualifications:3+ years of experience in thorough testing and validation of ETL processes and workflows.9+ years of proven experience in software development industry, participating in team environment. Hands on coding experience with Java andor C# will be very helpful.3+ years of experience in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver with Java, C#.NET3+ years of proven experience in testing web services such as RESTful API3+ years of proven experience in performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter, REST Assured, POSTMAN for API2+ years of working in a cloud-based development and production environment such as AWS a big plus2+ years of working experience with Databases such as Postgres, SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, ElasticSearch, OpenSearchFamiliarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, .NET a big plusFamiliarity working in CI CDFamiliarity with Agile [Scrum]
