Title: Healthcare Facilities Operations ManagerLocation: Portland, ORDuration: PERMShift: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pmSalary Range: $120k -$165k (based on experience)The Healthcare Facilities Operations Manager will lead a team of 21 facilities technicians and engineers, ensuring the smooth operation of infrastructure for hospitals and clinics within a mid-sized health system. Collaborating with a supervisor and three coordinators, this role will focus on directing corrective work orders, maintaining mechanical systems, and overseeing CMS regulatory programs, including testing, documentation, and compliance maintenance. Additionally, the Healthcare Facilities Operations Manager will work closely with facilities staff and leadership to deliver excellent customer service and ensure safe environments for clinicians and hospital operations staff.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Management: Inspire and guide front-line supervisors and teams to deliver high-quality, proactive, and fiscally responsible services. Promote a culture of safety and professional growth.Budgeting & Reporting: Oversee budget administration, track operating expenses, and develop budget requests. Collaborate with experts to prioritize capital replacement needs.Maintenance Management: Develop performance indicators, monitor service quality, and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Plan for campus emergencies and participate in preparedness exercises.Strategic Partnerships: Maintain relationships with key partners, including vendors, Design & Construction, Utilities, and clinical leadership.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience in healthcare facilities management (as a technician, Project Manager, engineer, manager, etc.)5+ years of management experience over healthcare facilities teamsExperience with mid-to-large-sized hospital facilities management (minimum 300-bed)Experience with testing, documentation, and maintenance according to CMS guidelinesBachelor's degree in engineering, management, or similar, OR industry certification (e.g. Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager)
