We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to provide ongoing support to multiple attorneys, with an expected commitment of up to 20 hours a week. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage a demanding workload while performing well under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment are essential. The successful candidate should be able to follow directions closely and also work independently on assigned tasks.Duties & Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of litigation case management, including file organization, discovery, and trial-related activitiesImplement and maintain a case calendaring system to track deadlines and filings.Utilize existing processes or establish new procedures for efficient document organization and retrievalAssist in discovery and provide support for witness preparationDraft, review, andor analyze legal documents; conduct legal research under attorney supervisionCreate e-binders from deposition outlines, and prepare exhibits, labels, and exhibit stickers for depositionsProvide support on special projects as assignedSkills & Qualifications:Must be located on the East Coast.Minimum 3 years of work experience as a litigation paralegal in an Amlaw 100 firm or a specialized litigation practice firm; CorporateCommercial Litigation preferred or IP Litigation.Strong background in discovery and trial preparation.Experience preparing for and attending depositions and hearings.Experience implementing processes to collect, store, and maintain paper and electronic case files.Experience using e-discovery databases (e.g. Relativity, Nuix Discover).Proficient with Westlaw and Adobe Acrobat in a legal setting.Proficient with Microsoft Office software products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointProficient with cite-checking and Bluebook rules preferredBSBA from an accredited college requiredParalegal certificate preferred
