Engineer II (Water/Wastewater)

Insight Global's client is looking to hire a Senior Engineer to join their team in Newark, DE. This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) from 8am - 4:30pm.The Engineer will be responsible for managing engineering investigations, design, permitting, financial project management, and construction management for various water and wastewater facilities, including:Surface and ground water supplyWater treatmentPumping and distribution facilitiesWastewater collection, pumping, transmission, treatment, and disposal facilitiesThe Engineer will study alternatives, conduct feasibility studies, and provide recommendations and engineering estimates for capital projects to improve facilities and system operations. Financially review and manage assigned capital projects on a weekly basis. Provide technical assistance on capital projects involving multiple departments and serve as a technical resource for other members of the Engineering Group and company departments as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related fieldMinimum 5 years of engineering experienceExperience in the waterwastewater industryPlusses:PE (Professional Engineer) licenseEIT (Engineer in Training) licenseCompensation: $100,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
