The position emphasizes identifying root causes and implementing solutions to optimize performance and maintain high-quality outcomes.Quality Engineer Responsibilities:Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and ensure compliance.Ensures that products meet the quality and product integrity requirements of the organization and customerSupports the customer service team by providing analysismonitoring and expertise throughout the organizational processes related to the BMS.Identifies root causes of problems in the BMS process; recommends andor implements corrective measures.Analyzes data to identify trends in product qualitydelivery or defects with a goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.Ensures manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations.Evaluates customer requirements and contractual obligations as they pertain to the BMS and related processes of the organization.Develop and establish quality assurance measures for new applications, products, andor enhancements to existing processes throughout their developmentproduct lifecycles.Liaise with vendors and suppliers in assessing applications andor systems under consideration for purchase.Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under development or consideration to determine its intended functionality.Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for and corresponding municate BMS system issues and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.Quality Engineer Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.At least five years of related experience required; supervisory experience is a plus.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.Thorough understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Strong ability to multi-task efficiently.Successfully prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
