What an Inbuilding Construction Manager will be doing:A Sr. In-building Construction Manager is responsible for all technical aspects of the telecommunications equipment deployment and ASP management at assigned jobvenues, including, but not limited to: ensuring the appropriateness of the site for deployment; recommending or selecting suppliers.Identifying and validating scope items with RF and suppliers; determining and managing the distribution of the equipment and materials necessary for the deployment; managing site access; planning and scheduling the installation and construction of the jobsite, including setting project schedules, forecasting, and sequencing of work.Monitoring progress and milestones against schedule, including revising and updating project schedules; acting as the representative for venue reviewapproval of supplier deliverables, customer visits, governmentcustomer inspections, and safety issues; conducting audits during build and through construction completion.Ensuring completion in accordance with company and customer standards, evaluating all punch list items and determining if construction is complete and acceptable; monitoring and managing budget; coordinating with and supporting Customer Project Managers; and delegating administrative tasks to support organizations, who provide support to the IBCM. The IBCM partners with supports the Senior Construction Manager on complex jobssites, as needed. The IBCM also partners with the Remote Construction Manager.Oversee all technical aspects of telecom equipment deployment and ASP management at assigned venues, ensuring site readiness for deployment.Manage site access, equipmentmaterial distribution, scheduling, and construction coordination.Ensure compliance with company and customer standards through audits, progress monitoring, and adjusting schedules as needed.Address any roadblocks or material deficiencies, reporting to senior managers and adjusting plans as required.Collaborate with the Senior Construction Manager and other teams for seamless project execution.Conduct safety audits, ensure adherence to safety standards, and guide construction teams accordingly.Provide training and mentorship to ASPs, RCMs, and others.What we are looking in an Inbuilding Construction Manager:7+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with expertise in in-building RAN systems (DOT, PDAS, ODAS).Proficiency in tools like iBwave software, Anritsu, ODTR fiber testing, and Microsoft Office.Experience in managing construction projects, working with RF design teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Knowledge of site acquisition, zoning, permitting, and relevant industry standards.Basic understanding of contracts and budgets.Behavioral Competencies:Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task under pressure.Effective communication and consultative skills with internal and external stakeholders.
