REPORTS TO:Supervisor, Division OrderABOUT WILDFIRE ENERGY:WildFire Energy is an independent energy company focused on the acquisition, exploitation, and production of oil and natural gas properties in the United States through the application of modern technology and production optimization. WildFire's principal assets are located in the Brazos Valley area of the eastern Eagle Ford.POSITION OVERVIEW:The Sr. Division Order Analyst will have significant ownership over the preparation, maintenance, evaluation and timely up-keep of the division of interest for operated and non-operated wells with an intentional dedication to accuracy, while cohesively partnering with the broader Land and Land Administration team.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Communicate regularly with Land Administration Manager on status of deck creation for newly drilled wells and any significant deck changes as they occurWith minimal direction, read, analyze, calculate and maintain record title ownership and third-party divisions of interest, utilizing title opinions, leases, deeds, probate proceedings, curative, contracts, mineral titles and title opinions for input and maintenance into OnDemand LandInitiate the curing of title requirements in partnership with our Land team; obtain required curative documents in preparation for operations and revenue distributionCreate process to regularly review unbilled suspense and proactively address the set-up of decksRespond to royalty owner inquiries through phone, written or electronic communication in a professional mannerEstablish procedures for the timely creation and maintenance of various reports from OnDemand LandOnDemand Accounting as it pertains to critical leases, contracts, agreements, acreage reporting, cessation of production, and any other LandLand Administration issues, etc.Meticulous attention to detail when processing pay code changes and ownership transfers in OnDemand Accounting, advise other Division Order Analysts of best practicesDevelop and maintain working relationships with internal WildFire Energy Accounting, Legal, Operations and Subsurface Development teams to ensure that all owners are paid correctly and all title issues are resolved promptlyMake recommendations for process improvements to constantly elevate the efficiencies for both the Land and Land Administration teamsDemonstrate advanced experience with Land software systems, specifically OnDemand Land and OnDemand AccountingReview title opinions, unitization orders and pooling declarations as they apply to the creation and maintenance of division of interest and independently calculate difficult divisions of interests to create and maintain revenue, JIB, and associated special decks in OnDemand AccountingAssist with acquisition, divestiture, due diligence, internalexternal audits, data conversion and other special projectsSupport Owner Relations team with inquiries as neededThe duties described above are a brief summation of the general nature and level of work performed, but are not intended to be a complete comprehensive list of all the duties, activities, and responsibilities required. This position may be asked to perform other land and land administration dutiesactivities as necessary or required.LOCATIONWORK SCHEDULE:Houston, TXHybrid Schedule: Mon - Thurs in office with Flex-Fridays (remote option every Friday)KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Proficiency in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and the ability to learn new software or applications, additionally:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skillsHigh standards of accuracy and attention to detailDemonstrated knowledge of upstream oil and gas landland administrationHighly driven, proactive and self-motivatedWorks collaboratively across departmental functionsAbility to balance multiple prioritiesEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Business or related field from an accredited four-year university7+ years as a Division Order Analyst at an upstream Oil & Gas companyCurrent andor previous work experience in creating and maintaining expense and revenue decks for company-operated wells in Texas preferred
