We are working with our San Jose, CA technical manufacturing client to recruit an Account Manager to join their sales team on a permanent basis, primarily onsite. This is a great opportunity for you to build or continue building a foundation of B2B account management and sales experience with a world-renowned organization in the heart of Silicon Valley, as this organization is open to entry-level candidates with a bachelor's degree or 1+ year of relevant experience. In this role, you will streamline sales activities for primarily existing strategic accounts for the organization, working to manage relationships and serve as a point of contact, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunity to drive new revenue. You will maintain detailed account data and records, keep a pulse on market trends and competitors, and will provide intel on opportunities to internal partners and leaders. To be a fit, you should bring excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working with clients and account data. Japanese language skills, cultural or business knowledge is a plus. This is NOT a cold calling sales role, and candidates new to the workforce with relevant education experience are encouraged to apply!This organization has international reach and partners with technical leaders in Silicon Valley and beyond! This is a permanent, salaried role with a range of $70,000 to $75,000 annually based on relevant knowledge and experience. Because this is not a cold-calling sales role, this is not a commissioned position, but is bonus eligible biannually, so additional compensation is a factor in the total package. You will:Streamline relationship management and sales processes for existing, strategic accounts, serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders and clients with questions, order needs or similarIdentify opportunity for growth within existing accounts, with an eye on revenue generation through relational means and existing partnershipsDevelop and share product expertise with new and existing contacts, providing product suggestions and guidance, or routing questions to relevant parties internally Maintain detailed account and contact records in the organization's CRM Conduct market research, reviewing competitor intel, relevant news and updates that impact the organization and sales strategy Report to team leadership and company stakeholders on opportunities and sales dataYour profile should include:Excellent interpersonal and communications skills - this organization is open to entry level candidates out of college with a passion for relationship buildingBachelor's degree in a relevant field, required without additional relevant experienceExcellent technical aptitude with exposure to CRMsdatabase tools, preferredExcellent organizational skills and detailed documentation skills to maintain data, processes and organizations for the orgBilingual skills in Japanese OR exposure to Japanese businesses or culture, preferredSound like you?
