Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Job Description: Coverage schedule: 1-2 weeks per month. Must be available a full 7 days in a row. Weekly schedule: Monday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM, including night and weekend call Weekday hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend call: Starts Friday at 4:30 PM and ends Monday at 7:00 AM. Evening call: Starts at 4:30 PM and ends the following morning at 7:30 AM.The provider would be in house Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, take call Monday-Friday for the night shift and then take weekend call through Monday morning. Average inpatient admissions per physician per day: Approximately 10, depending on inpatient consults. Total number of beds: 256. Number of ICU beds: 20. Cardiologists in the group: 3 non-invasive cardiologists.Other cardiologists will be present during locum coverage.Locum physician will supervise residents and medical students. Patient age demographic: 18 years and older. Documentation systemEMR: Currently Flex and Merge Cardio. Required procedures: Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Electrocardiograms (EKGs), and Submission Requirements: Board Certified in Cardiology - RequiredActive NY license - RequiredBLS, ACLS - Required
