Location: A city located in the northwest part of South Carolina. Situated approximately halfway between the cities of Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina, making it part of the larger metropolitan area known as the "I-85 corridor." Facility: A Cancer Center providing comprehensive cancer care, offering advanced treatments and personalized care plans for patients diagnosed with various types of cancer. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life for cancer patients through early detection, treatment, and support services. Opportunity: Seeking a fellowship-trained HematologistOncologist for their Cancer Center Candidates can be BE or BC, but BC is HIGHLY PREFERRED based on the complexity of the practice and the first physician will onsite alone a majority of the time. Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, (very few) hospital rounds Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) + On call Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends) Practice is in a phase of rebuilding Desired start date: ASAP Approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-25 Facility's Trauma LevelDesignation: Trauma Level 2 State-of-the-art Cancer Center with Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984 On-site Radiation Oncology department Robust Oncology supportive services 24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with on-site pharmacist On-site laboratory services Epic EMR Access to nationwide clinical trials through our UC-NCORP Supportive leadership and collegial medical staff Family-oriented community with affordable cost of living and recreational activities galore Qualify for federal school loan forgiveness program Compensation: Salary range: To be discussed at interview.
