Anderson, South Carolina, Hematology Oncology JobClinical Role:Seeking a fellowship-trained HematologistOncologist for their Cancer Center in Anderson, SC. Located along South Carolina's National Heritage Corridor, the greater Anderson area is a fast-growing and diverse county of about 185,000 residentsCandidates can be BE or BC, but BC is HIGHLY PREFERRED based on the complexity of the practice and the first physician will onsite alone a majority of the timeFull-time position covering outpatient, clinic, (very few) hospital roundsMonday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) + On callCover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends)Practice is in a phase of rebuildingDesired Start Date: ASAPApproximately 1200 new cancer cases per yearAverage Number of Patients Per Day: 15 - 25Trauma Level IIState-of-the-art Cancer Center with Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984On-site Radiation Oncology departmentRobust Oncology supportive services 24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with on-site pharmacistOn-site laboratory servicesEpic EMRAccess to nationwide clinical trials through our UC-NCORPSupportive leadership and collegial medical staffFamily-oriented community with affordable cost of living and recreational activities galoreThis is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.
