An opportunity to work with a collaborative and innovative team, which includes a dynamic COO and an "˜agent of change" CHRO, at this mission driven midsized firm. This C-suite team values its employees, as does the firm, who invests in their growth. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's culture. The firm is seeking a mission driven, experienced (4-5 years in a law firm) Human Resources Manager to lead their HR function and elevate the performance, culture, and overall employee experience across all levels of the firm. This position requires a strategic and hands-on professional with a demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and execute HR policies and programs in alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mid-sized or Big Law firms, a proven track record of managing small teams, and a passion for delivering best-in-class HR services.The HR Manager will partner with the CHRO and others to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR policies and programs that promote equity, inclusion, and innovation while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and development. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for all employees; Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws. Proactively manage HR-related risks and maintain proper documentation and records; Use data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve processes and programs.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Advanced degree preferred; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required. Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive HR experience in a Big Law or mid-sized law firm setting is required with at least 2 years of experience managing and mentoring a small HR team; Proven ability to design and implement HR programs that elevate organizational performance and culture. Compensation includes salary ($160K-$175K+) plus robust benefits package. Individuals with exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills as well as strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities required.
