ATR International | Advanced Production Technician

Client's firm is currently seeking a Advanced Production Technician for Solar Array and Battery to join our team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will build and test flight solar array wing assemblies for spacecraft from multiple composite solar array panels and complex hinges, cables, hold-downs and pulley systems. You will also build and test flight Battery assemblies for spacecraft. You will interpret drawings, work instructions, and specifications for flight assemblies as well as complex assembly fixtures and tooling.Responsibilities:· Build and test flight spacecraft solar array wing and battery assemblies· Coordinate with manufacturing engineers and floor leads to deliver the highest quality hardware to the spacecraft.· Prepare test articles for qualification or workmanship tests· Mentor junior employees· Sustain lean manufacturing (5s) and Continuous Improvement and Innovation (CI&I)
