South Bay Insurance Defense Firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with proven trial, insurance litigation defense experience.Litigation paralegal (paralegal certificate required) 3+ years' experience in tort law environment (medical malpractice experience a plus). Candidate will have their own team of attorneys. Duties include, but are not limited to:Preparing and processing records subpoenas with consistent follow up with photocopy services.Preparing HIPAA authorizations for release of confidential records, obtaining signed authorizations and processing same.Preparing, e-filing and serving pre-trial anizing and compiling exhibits for trial binders (paper and PDF).Pretrial and trial document preparation.Skills & QualificationsMust have a Paralegal CertificateMust have trial prperation experiance requiredAttention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Westlaw drafting software programsProlaw calendaring, document management or comparable program experienceMust possess exemplary grammar and spelling skillsAbility to work self manage and work well on a teamBenefits and Hybrid work schedule available.Kjar, McKenna and Stockalper firmly believe that our inclusive environment is essential to both the quality of our client service and the personal satisfaction of our lawyers and business professionals.
