Selects appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure; ensures proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain and optimal quality image. Performs scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process. Complete examination in a timely manner, orders IV and oral contrast in powerchart. Documents administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner. Perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner.
