As a key member of the Finance & Development Team this position will deliver our data insights to power The Ireland Funds' mission. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about using their data and CRM database expertise to make a meaningful impact in the nonprofit sector.The primary focus of this role will be to support our development and fundraising team for impact. We are seeking a CRM Data Analyst to manage and enhance our Salesforce CRM database and other data sources, ensuring optimal performance, data quality and insights. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our charity's mission by managing data sources that drive our fundraising, communications, grant delivery and impact measurement. Expertise with Salesforce is essential, as the role requires leveraging Salesforce to support the organization's goals.Successful candidates will possess solid written and verbal communication skills and team spirit. Comfort with the various technologies and the ability to learn quickly is also desirable. This individual should exhibit excellent interpersonal and time management skills.The position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be based in our New York City Office.ResponsibilitiesDatabase Management:Oversee the organization's databases, with a primary focus on Salesforce.Ensure database integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies and data protection regulations.Develop and implement database policies and procedures to ensure consistency and reliability.Salesforce CRM Administration:Customize and configure Salesforce to meet organizational needs.Manage data imports, exports, and updates within Salesforce.Create and maintain workflows, custom objects, reports, and dashboards.Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other organizational softwareData Quality and Reporting:Monitor and improve data quality, including deduplication, standardization, and validation.Generate and maintain reports to support fundraising, marketing, program monitoring, and strategic decision-making.Work with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and design reporting tools to track them.User Support and Training:Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database users.Develop training materials and lead training sessions to enhance staff proficiency in Salesforce and other database tools.Act as the primary point of contact for database-related inquiries.Database Improvements:Evaluate and recommend enhancements to database systems to increase efficiency and functionality.Stay updated on new Salesforce features, updates, and best practices.Lead or assist in data migration or implementation projects as needed.Collaboration:Work closely with fundraising, communications, grants program and operations teams to align database functionality with organizational goals. QualificationsExperience: at least 3 years of relevant work experience.Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment; team oriented; ability to collaborate with team members and outside vendors at all levels.Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Competencies include:Proven experience as a database admin, preferably in a nonprofit setting.Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce and other reportingvisualization platforms.Salesforce Administrator Certification; are a plus.Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and CRM systems is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams.
