DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning to support decision-making across the organization. Additionally, this role will partner cross functionally with Commercial, Product Development, Supply Chain & Operations teams to bring products to market and ensure customers receive the highest quality product and service. This role requires strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of financial and accounting principles, and the ability to communicate effectively, and work independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic environment. ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & AnalysisSupport month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, support external and internal audit processes.Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Monitor and analyze financial performance against benchmarks and industry standards.Prepare and maintain financial models to inform management on financial performance.Lead development and presentation of annual operating plan and periodic forecast updates Commercial SupportCollaborate cross-functionally to support commercial activities including new product development, pricing, costing, and promotions. Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business objectives and drive strategic decision-making.Process ImprovementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and establish and improve processes.Analyze revenue trends, expenses, and cash flow to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.Mentor and guide other members of the Finance & Accounting team, fostering a collaborative team environment.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform financial strategies. Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.5+ years of combined experience in corporate financial planning & analysis, public accounting, andor a related role, preferably in Food & Beverage industry.Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.Advanced skills in Excel and experience with financial analysis tools and ERP and Financial Planning & Reporting systems (NetSuite & Planful preferably).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information and financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner.Ability to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities and deliverables, with strong sense of urgencyAbility to exercise good judgment and work ethic to ensure the integrity of all reporting and financial data.Required SkillsFinancial modeling and valuationBudgeting and forecastingData analysis and reportingCommunication - written & verbal, ability to interact with all levels of management Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in dynamic environment Strategic thinkingTeam leadership and mentoringKnowledge of financial regulations, GAAP accounting standards and complianceProficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
