Our client is seeking Technical Designer to join their team on a contract basis in their New York office, full-time hours! This role focuses on woven dresses and sweaters. Responsibilities:Execute the technical design process from development to final fit.Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendorsfactories for approvals and corrections.Create CAD flats for tech packs.Direct Assistant Associate Technical Designers.Lead fittings and oversee fit comments.Partner closely with the design team.Requirements:4-5+ years of working in Technical Design - woven & sweater experience. Extensive knowledge of garment constructionExamples of tech packs or CAD flatsTechnical fluency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel and PLM systems.Strong written & verbal communication skillsCapable of maintaining organization while handling multiple projects & prioritiesStrong time management & problem-solving skillsPlease submit your resume for consideration.You can use to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose.
