You'll navigate between engineering challenges and commercial goals, becoming the trusted advisor our clients turn to when it matters most.This is your chance to join a team that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence"”all while ensuring that safety always comes first!What You'll DoConnect with CustomersBe the first point of contact for prospective customers, identifying needs and matching them with our solutions.Qualify inbound inquiries, build relationships, and collaborate with the Outside Sales team to develop opportunities.Research bid lists, internal references, and other resources to provide actionable leads to the sales team.Understand the ChallengeDive deep into customer needs by gathering technical, logistical, and scheduling details.Evaluate machining requirements, including tolerances, GD&T specifications, environmental constraints, and safety considerations.Identify key project factors such as equipment access, lifting capabilities, and worksite conditions to ensure successful execution.Craft Tailored SolutionsCollaborate with engineers, machinists, and other technical experts to develop innovative methods that meet customer objectives.Estimate project costs, including labor, materials, travel, and consumables, and craft detailed, accurate proposals.Write compelling proposals that clearly outline our technical approach, timeline, pricing, and commercial terms.Seal the DealPresent proposals to customers, address their feedback, and adjust plans as necessary to align with their goals.Build trust by providing references, examples of past projects, and expert insights.Guide customers through the decision-making process and secure purchase orders to close deals.Be a Trusted Partner During ExecutionServe as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution, ensuring clear communication and alignment.Coordinate schedules, updates, and changes with customers and internal teams.Address and document any changes to project scope, pricing, or timelines to keep everyone on the same page.Own the Wrap-UpReview invoices for accuracy and ensure all project details are completed.Document safety incidents, non-conformances, and lessons learned to continuously improve processes.Close out projects with professionalism and a focus on building long-term relationships.RequirementsWhat You'll BringEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.2-year technical degree required.3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a machining or mechanical environment.Technical SkillsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer software.Background in project management or machining operations is a plus.Soft SkillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills"”you're equally comfortable presenting to executives or working with technicians on the shop floor.Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a knack for thinking on your feet.A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a passion for helping customers succeed.Why You'll Love It HereWork with an industry-leading team on challenging, high-impact projects.Blend your technical expertise with sales acumen to solve real-world problems.Enjoy a dynamic work environment where no two days are the petitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.Additional DetailsPhysical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Travel Requirements: Up to 20%, including domestic and international travel to job sites and customer facilities.Certifications: OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver's license required (we can help with OSHA 10 if needed).
