About the Role:Vibe Talent is conducting an exclusive search for a VP of Commercial Banking Portal Technology on behalf of a prominent financial services client. This leader will oversee the development and enhancement of a digital banking portal designed for corporate and commercial banking clients. The role requires technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong leadership skills to deliver innovative solutions that drive business success.This position offers the opportunity to lead an agile team focused on developing user-centric dashboards, enhancing API connectivity, and delivering state-of-the-art features that improve client engagement and streamline operations.Key Responsibilities:Manage the development and enhancement of client-facing portals, focusing on functionality, user experience, and seamless API integration.Simplify onboarding processes with advanced workflow tools and self-service capabilities.Lead client migration strategies to support the launch of new transaction banking products and services.Collaborate with enterprise architecture to execute cloud-first and mobile-first strategies.Ensure system security and resilience through proactive risk management and remediation efforts.Drive the development of integrated capabilities for payment processing, reporting, and client delivery.Manage vendor relationships and oversee the evaluation and implementation of third-party solutions.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in application development and architecture, with a focus on digital portals or transaction banking.Proven experience leading agile teams and managing large-scale technology initiatives.Deep understanding of treasury management products, payment standards (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022, NACHA), and file formats.Technical expertise in Java, microservices, web frameworks, and API development.Proficiency with CICD tools, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and DevOps practices.Excellent leadership and communication skills.
