Index Engines | Software Engineering Manager

Index Engines are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join an established and fast growing team in Holmdel, NJ. We are looking to grow this year by 80 heads and require a new Software Engineering Manager to work closely with our Engineers as part of the technical leadership team. Working with industry leading clients, our new Software Engineering Manager will lead software engineers assigned to work on Scrum Teams. Your role will be to lead and manage a growing team of 6 software engineers and one QA. The software application runs on the Linux operating system and is primarily written in the C-Language, with some code written in Python. Technical proficiency in these areas would be highly advantageous. The role will involve:Technical coachingTaking part in design and code reviewsProcess improvement within Software EngineeringPerformance feedbackHiring new team membersJob Requirements:The ideal individual for this job will have a solid technical background in software development and strong leadership and communication skills.
