Must Haves:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related5+ years' minimum experience in cost estimating5+ years working within commercial building estimating with electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other internal mechanical componentsKnowledge of EPC estimating methods, processes, and procedures, in addition to the estimate types, classifications, and components. Experience with Lump Sum Design Build estimates and Work Breakdown Structures necessary for cost managementDay to Day: As an Estimator your primary focus will include the development and review of capital cost estimates, construction cost estimates andor service estimates for a variety of different market sectors including Waste, Power and Industrial. Development of these estimates will typically require application of a crew-based approach including formation of crews from multiple disciplines along with performing quantity takeoffs and estimates from design drawings. Other responsibilities include data gathering and analysis, cost estimate database management, preparing basis and assumptions documentation, and performing other duties as needed.
