Cramer-Krasselt is more than integrated, we are interconnected, and contributors are able to influence business strategies with a core team and have a voice at the decision-making table.The Jr. Data Engineer will partner with data scientists and analysts to develop data pipelines and services that address the agency's needs and solve problems to get to the root of client business problems. About the role:Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to understand data needs and arrive at implementation requirements.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Design and create data pipelines and data management systems optimizing data flow and collection. Capable of building solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various disparate sources (APIs, databases, flat files, etc.). Maintain and enhance existing data services and database infrastructure.Build and maintain interactive data-driven applications for end-user consumption.Follow best practices for securely deploying cloud infrastructure and protecting the data. About you:Strong familiarity with Python.Extensive SQL knowledge (CTEs, joins, aggregations, indexes, and transactions should be familiar.)Experience working with data and ETLELT operations, building, and maintaining data pipelines. Experience working with cloud-based solutions. (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Comfortable working within Linux environments and with version control systems (Git).Ability to iterate quickly, adapting to the pace and needs of a fast-growing agency.Ability to communicate technical ideas, solutions, and issues with technical and non-technical team members.Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, CICD, NiFi and Airflow is not required, but is nice to have.A natural problem-solver who is resourceful and works well in a fast-paced environment.Who is C-K?Cramer-Krasselt is one of the largest independent agencies in the U.S. with nearly $50 million in revenue - and more than 80% of that revenue comes from digital and social. We are also committed to providing an environment that allows for worklife balance, so C-Kers work remotely on Mondays and pensation range at the time of posting: $65,000 to $80,000 annually.
