LHH | Manufacturing Controller

The Manufacturing Controller is responsible for the full cycle accounting. Duties include: preparing and maintaining accurate financial records by performing a variety of complex admin and accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of financial records, and preparing financial, statistical, andor technical reports in order to achieve the financial objectives of the location.Support the CFO through standardized and consistent reporting.Coordination and execution of consistent accounting procedures.Develop and implement a training program for new accounting employees that provides an extensive introduction to the SystemsCulture Processes that currently drive the business.Work with other company facilities, regions, and corporate AccountingFinance personnel to streamline the month-end, yearly close procedures, payroll, and budgeting process.Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost or variance analyses and profitability.Participate in management meetings to provide input on costing, expenses, payroll, capital investments and other financial matters related to existing or developing products and customers.Participate in a variety of internal and external audits by providing required financial information and explaining processes, procedures, and data. Follow up and implement any changes to enhance internal controlsRequired SkillsExcellent verbal, comprehension, listening and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented, Well-organized10+ years of experience in accountingfinance environmentPossess strong time management and organizational skillsKnowledge of general ledger systems, financial chart of accounts, and corporate proceduresAbility to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, complex environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timelinessProficiency in MS office suite with strong Excel knowledge is required.
