We are partnering with an established Aerospace and Defense organization who are seeking a Director of Sales to join their growing team.Develop and manage repair sales in South America by providing services to current clients and pursuing new leads. This role reports to the VP of Sales and will have full autonomy of sales across South America.Responsibilities:Create and implement business plans for component repairs for the aftermarket industry to meet sales targets and increase market presenceProduce and provide the marketing materials required to market and sell products and servicesAttend trade events as necessary to represent and promote the companyReach firm business and sales targetsConduct frequent customer visits that require frequent travelShow that you are aware of the local customs and culturesGain knowledge of client repair trends and requirementsInteract with clients over the phone, fax, and emailConduct client satisfaction surveysManage the duties of the repair Sales team's personnelRequirements:Having in-depth understanding of the aerospace industry and its clienteleFluency in Spanish and or Portuguese is advantageousWorking understanding of South American regions or experience within themThe capacity to grow the aftermarket industry's customer base and revenueThe importance of building relationships, spotting possibilities, and having good account management abilitiesKnowledge of trends, challenges, events, and requirements in the global aerospace market and the aerospace aftermarketCapability to develop process manuals, business letters, and reportsExceptional verbal and written communication abilitiesHighly driven, vivacious, and success-focusedExhibit outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities and are courteous and tactful.Must be extremely organised, meticulous, and capable of working under pressure.Prior account management or sales expertise is necessaryProficient with Microsoft Word and ExcelA bachelor's degree andor five to seven years of relevant experience
