About the jobMeta Reality Labs, W2 ContractEngineering Program Manager Sunnyvale, CA Job Summary: EPM for New Technology Introduction (NTI) Meta Reality Labs is seeking an experienced EPMTPM to join their New Technology Introduction (NTI) team in Sunnyvale, CA! This is an exciting position in which you will be overseeing top-priority program initiatives, working at the bleeding edge of technology that is the first-ever of its kind.Job Qualifications: 6+ years' experience as an EPMTPM, managing hardware programs from concept to mass productionExperience in first party product development, defining requirements and program constraints, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholdersExperience in building 0-to-1 consumer electronics in both JDM and CM vendor engagement modelsExperience and understanding requirements and development flow of building consumer electronics productsHands-on engineering program management experience driving system and module level development as an individual contributorExperience working with CMJDMODM suppliers or key component vendorsProblem-solving and organizational experience and a focus on continuous improvementExperience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teamsExperience operating autonomously across multiple teamsBS in mechanical engineering (preferred), or other relevant engineering discipline, physics, or equivalent experienceJob Responsibilities: Drive combined mechanical, electrical and xfn schedules, builds, and DOEs at component, module, and final assembly sitesContribute to product development process and best practices for factory managementCoordinate build activities from prototype through ramp in collaboration with the engineering and operations teamsFrequent coordination with suppliers (foreign and domestic) to enforce development schedules, quality and manufacturing processes required during the development cycleTrain supplier base in best practices for mechanical program management and enforce development schedules, quality and manufacturing processes required during the development cycleEffectively communicate build statuses, identify potential risks and setbacks, and develop mitigation strategiesInterface directly with the supply chain, quality, engineering and vendor teams to drive development, including DFM, toolingfixture processes, FAICPK qualification, electrical validation, test, reliability, production and shipmentWork cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery
